BIRMINGHAM The Jacksonville State track and field team competed in its first indoor meet of new year on Saturday, but it was a familiar venue as the Gamecocks came away from the Vulcan Classic held at the Birmingham Sportsplex with a solid start to the 2016 portion of the schedule.
